The meeting will be hybrid using Microsoft Teams and a meeting room at AtkinsRéalis' office at Bressenden Place, London.
David Fenner will focus primarily on the progress with the C3R project for Network Rail which is resignalling, relocking and re-controlling the current Cambridge signalbox area including extending the control area along the Bury St. Edmunds route. The work includes upgrading several level crossings. In addition Cambridge South station is now under construction and the talk will include information about that project. Finally with cancellation of the northern leg of HS2 there is renewed talk about capacity improvements at Ely although as yet no new details about the progress and timing of this work are available
