For 20 years, Darwin has been at the heart of all customer train information and one of the most critical systems serving the industry. Darwin is maintained and continually improved by Rail Delivery Group (RDG) in partnership with Hitachi Rail.

Rob Kirkbride, Hitachi Rail UK Chief Software Architect will explain what Darwin is, some of its history, why it is needed, what it does, how it does it and, the transformation it is going through at the moment.
